How To Use The Trailer Winch
Winches are great tool for moving broken down cars or rolling wrecks onto a car trailer. To use the winch, simply secure the winch strap to the vehicles tow point or chassis and wind the car on until in place. The winch must never be used to secure a car onto a car trailer as it is illegal and is not rated to withstand the pressure of a whole vehicle whilst the trailer is moving. Winches are designed for loading a car onto a trailer only and must not be used for unloading. If a winch is used for any other purpose than to load a car onto a car trailer, it will be damaged at the hirers expense. To remove a vehicle from a car trailer, it is required to be rolled off under control by a driver.
NEVER STAND BEHIND A CAR THAT IS BEING WINCHED ONTO A TRAILER AS THE WINCH STRAP MAY BREAK
